Hello and a Warm Welcome to this short outline of my leadership and mentoring experience.
I presently work in Higher Education as University Lecturer, teaching and researching in the field of leadership development, coaching and people management at the Global Development Institute. I have been married to Ian for just over 29 years, and we have two children.
Over the past 35 years I have served in a variety of roles within my home church (PCC, church prayer co-ordinator, mentor) and Christian organizations (Trustee, workshop facilitator). I am also a Myers-Briggs Practitioner and a Qualified coach/mentor. I have various external roles , for example with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC) as Work Forum Associate and I contribute to a teaching on variety of theological colleges and/or ordination programmes. Drawing on experiences of church and workplace, I am familiar with the tensions and challenges involved in leadership – especially the way responsibilities can affect work effectiveness, relationships and personal well-being and been part of mentor Connect for several years.
